Health and Safety Policy

1. Purpose

To provide a safe environment for online and in-person fitness sessions while minimising the risk of injury.

2. Coach Responsibilities

The coach will:

  • Deliver programs appropriate to the client’s ability

  • Conduct pre-training health questionnaires (PAR-Q or equivalent)

  • Encourage clients to obtain medical clearance if needed

  • Demonstrate exercises safely and provide clear instructions

  • Maintain professional insurance

3. Client Responsibilities

Clients must:

  • Disclose injuries, medical conditions, or limitations

  • Train in a safe environment (clear space, suitable flooring, stable equipment)

  • Follow instructions carefully

  • Stop exercise immediately if experiencing pain, dizziness, or discomfort

  • Provide emergency contact details

4. Online Coaching Safety

  • Ensure adequate space and lighting

  • Use equipment properly and inspect for safety

  • Be mindful of pets, children, or obstacles in the area

5. Liability

  • Clients participate at their own risk

  • ROUNDY Strength + Fitness is not responsible for injuries caused by unsafe environments or improper use of equipment

  • Clients are encouraged to seek medical advice before beginning any new fitness program

6. Reporting issues

Clients should immediately report:

  • Unsafe conditions

  • Equipment damage

  • Any injury sustained during a session​​
